Welcome to the Otways! If you're looking to explore this beautiful region, breathe clean, fresh country air, then head this way and find yourself in a beautiful part of Victoria. Located between Colac and Forrest, we're perfectly positioned to visit the many attractions of the region including Apollo Bay, Lorne and the Great Ocean Road.
Spring has sprung! Our country garden is looking a bit special, and the vegetable gardens (we have two!) are being prepared for a bumper season.
Otway Fields is a special place where you can rest a while and take in the beauty of the Otways. It is much more than a B&B. It is an experience.
We are close to Brae Restaurant on the outskirts of Birregurra. This world renowned restaurant is on every foodie's 'must experience' list!
When you stay with us, we deliver delicious breakfast basket to your door each morning which you prepare for yourself at your leisure. You'll love the organically grown produce, freshly baked bread, farm eggs and our artisan preserves.
Ami has two vegetable gardens and encourages guests to explore and pick from them. One is a loose 'permaculture' garden, where vegetables are left to go to flower and seed. A second, more structured potager garden, follows the traditional approach of succession planting.
Whether you choose to explore the many natural attractions of the region, sample wonderful locally produced food and wines, or simply relax in your safari inspired cabin accommodation, then this is the perfect spot to settle yourself in for a few days.

Hello, we're Frans and Ami, a couple of tree changers who have found 'the good life' on a small 9 acre property in the Otways.
We keep a few cows and chooks. We grow most of our fruit and vegetables using organic principles and we love sharing and bartering excess produce with friends and neighbours around us. We're all about keeping our food miles low and eating local produce where possible.
Frans has developed a keen love of bees and has a number of hives that he cares for. Our honey is delicious!
